Thieves of Joy

Thieves of Joy returns! It's been four years since we last offered our popular Hazy, and we think we're locking this one in as a worthy-to-repeat offering.

The refreshed recipe starts with a new yeast, LalBrew Pomona, which is optimized for highly hopped and hazy fermentations. We know most of you get extremely excited for deep dives in yeast strains, so please carry on with this overview of the single-cell wondermaker we used for Thieves.

Hop-wise, we blended tropical and juicy New Zealand varietals (Kohatu, Motueka) with citrusy American Idaho 7 for a punchy and vibrant aroma and flavor of peach, passionfruit, and lime.

We could keep droning on. But at this point, it's a Hazy. Some people call them Hazy IPAs. We save the term "IPA" for clear, bitter beer. At the risk of comparison, this ain't that. It's just a delicious hazy.
