Cool Durham
Cold IPA
We're excited to once again participate in the Two Dirhams Sister Cities celebration, and collaboratively brew with our British BFFs, Steam Machine Brewing out of, of course, Durham U.K..
This year the two breweries joined forces to brew a Cold IPA, a style that at first seemed a flash in the pan but has gained....steam in recent years. Plus, like Steam beer (California Common), it's an interesting hybrid between ale and lager brewing techniques .
Our Durham, N.C. version is 100% North Carolina (Plow to Pint) brewed with Epiphany’s Tidewater Gold Rice and Riverbend Chesapeake Pilsner malt.
The cold fermentation and crisp malt profile results in a bracingly refreshing, clear IPA.
Get your juice from the juice box - this IPA is properly bitter.
